The Vertical Slice -Unity Project
FPS demo around 20~30 minutes long, developed by Young Park for Oculus DK1 & DK2. Showcased at VRLA summer expo 2015. The original artwork was from my master's thesis project in 2014 aiming for a mobile shooter, but then I quickly implemented in Unity, made a VR demo. I worked on everything by myself using Unity PlayMaker, a visual scripting tool for all gameplay designs, except I hired one part-time coder for the player weapon system using UFPS. The whole project took me about 3 months to finish from the initial idea stage.
The entire scene was baked, and only two 4 K diffuse atlas textures were used for the whole game world to maintain the maximum performance which was around 80 fps.
